I am a naturally curious person who enjoys creating systems and exploring narratives.

Hi, my name is Burak Deniz Koca (I usually prefer Deniz). I am a lifelong learner from Turkey. So far my curiosity has led me to academia, where I earned degrees in English Language and Literature, American Culture and Literature, and Sociology, followed by an MA in American Culture and Literature. I am currently also studying Latin Language and Literature.

The same curiosity led me to a career in creative media, where I've worked as a video editor, copywriter, and project director. It has also led me to dabble in interests ranging from amateur leather crafting and screenwriting to worldbuilding, programming, and game development. I have always been fascinated by how the things we create are shaped by the medium they are produced in.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist (I am trying to be less of one) and can get obsessed with little details. This site is home to the various things I end up making, from software and games to writing, worldbuilding, and whatever else I happen to get interested in.
